Children's church allows children to learn about God and to help them grow in preparation for normal worship service. It is designed for children from Kindergarden through fifth grade. Children are taught about God and the Bible in a way that they can understand, which is designed to hold their interest. We are currently using the God's Kid's Grow program which focuses on the Fruits of the Spirit. Children are welcome to attend children's church while their parents are attending morning worship service. Volunteers who are interested in helping out should speak with Pastor Tuttle.

Your little ones will be well cared for if you choose to leave them during the small group Bible studies or the worship celebration. Many of our people volunteer their time so that you can give your full attention to worship and study. And if you choose to bring your children with you to the worship time, that's fine, too!

AWANA clubs

The AWANA Club is held each Wednesday evening during the school year from 6:30 PM till 8:00 PM. Kids 3 years old through 6th grade participate in Bible memory, games, Bible teaching sessions, individual crafts, service projects, and yearly regional AWANA Olympic games.

The AWANA program takes its name from the phrase "Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed," from II Timothy 2:15, "Study [be diligent] to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth." Through this program, children learn to be diligent about their study and memorization of the holy scriptures.

Christmas Program

Each of the last few years, Berean's children have performed a Christmas program, learning lines, songs, and acting parts to help us realize anew the meaning of Christmas.
