How it all started...
Berean Baptist Church was founded in March of 2017. The first meetings were held in various venue locations. God blessed the church, and a few years later, they moved into a church building located in downtown King George on Luther Lane near the Smoot library.
The church name, "Berean Baptist Church" was derived from Acts 17:11. Regarding the church at Berea, it says, "These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so."

Expanding the vision...
As the church grows, the vision expands. Working in various ministries to propagate the Gospel and to grow individuals in the Word of God is what expanding looks like at Berean.
The unity and joy it brings as Bereans work together with the same goal: searching the Scriptures daily, praying, and getting involved in the ministry to be a blessing to those of whom God places in the church.
